Strengths: Didn't stand in Harry's way. Weaknesses: Didn't help Harry either. Post-Voldemort Life: Probably a middle management Ministry official. Readers know the names of three of the girls in Harrys year, but the other two are still a complete mystery. Rowling has confirmed that yes, Hermione, Parvati, and Lavender have two more roommates, but they never make an appearance, they never have any lines, and theyre never even mentioned by name at any point in the books. In the movies, they could be any one of the nameless Gryffindors wandering about in the background. But even though they theyve never done anything particularly heroic or notable in Harrys story, they also havent done anything overtly negative either way, we would have heard something about it. Some people dont want to get caught up in the drama; they just want to keep their heads down and get out of high school in one piece. And doing nothing is better than standing in the way.
