Strengths: Patient and empathetic. Weaknesses: Gullible, friends with Lavender. Post-Voldemort Life: Unknown. It's officially unclear whether she actually survived. It€™s probably no coincidence that Lavender€™s best friend, Parvati, is on the bottom half of the list. After all, Lavender needed someone to do her giggling and gossiping with. But out of the two of them, Parvati seems to be a little more aware of the world around her. She stuck up for Neville when he was being teased by the Slytherins, and she was just as sick of Lavender and Won-Won€™s relationship as Harry was. Plus, unlike Lavender, Parvati probably managed to live to the end of the book (surely her death would have been mentioned even in passing). But that€™s a good enough testament to her effectiveness as we€™re going to get.
