10 Terrible Star Wars Characters With ONE Incredible Scene
They may not be the most beloved Star Wars character, but they definitely had their moments.
The galaxy far, far away is absolutely teeming with adored freedom fighters, badass Sith Lords, and inspiring heroes, with the likes of Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Leia Organa, Darth Vader, and many more all boasting more than a few legendary scenes in various Star Wars adventures.
But what about those less appreciated or beloved characters in this iconic franchise?
It would be easy to claim that the following annoying, wasted, or silly names never once found themselves in the middle of an awesome moment in any Star Wars project.
Would that be the truth, though? Not necessarily.
Everyone from irritating Masters, to foolish First Order members, to wasted Force users have all been very much present in a number of gripping on-screen exchanges over the years, delivering tremendous pieces of dialogue, making a hell of an introduction, or even just doing their best to stay alive in a terrifying situation.
Sure, these wonderful scenes still didn't completely save these characters from being classed as some of the least admired in the galaxy. But the next time you throw shade at these goofy aliens, arrogant Jedi, or ridiculous soldiers, just remember that even the most awful Star Wars characters have their moments.
10. The Party Is Over - Mace Windu
Bringing the great Samuel L. Jackson into the Star Wars universe as a Jedi could have led to one of the most iconic performances in movie history.
Unfortunately, though, Jackson's time as powerful but supremely arrogant Jedi Master Mace Windu is largely just spent sitting on a chair, ordering other Jedi about, and being about as interesting as a glass of water.
But there was one moment there when Jackson was finally given the chance to be the unquestionable badass he's always been.
While he did at least enjoy a rather dramatic death at the hands of Darth Sidious and Anakin Skywalker in Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, Mace Windu's arrival on Geonosis in Episode II: Attack of the Clones is his one properly incredible moment.
After Chancellor Palpatine had created his Grand Army of the Republic, the Jedi Master brilliantly arrived on the planet by sneaking up on Count Dooku and Jango Fett, and pulling out his purple (!) lightsaber before noting how this party was over.
The perfectly delivered follow-up of "I don't think so" when told the Jedi were outnumbered, along with his spectacular Force jump as he evaded the bounty hunter's flamethrower attack, both acted as tremendous appetisers before that jaw-dropping visual of a wave of lightsabers colliding with the droid army and Windu's eventual decapitating of Jango, too.
This is the Jackson fans paid to see in a Star Wars movie, not the one sat twiddling his thumbs on the Jedi Council.
