20 Things You Somehow Missed In Andor

17. The Ferrix Set Is One Of The Largest Ever Created In The Franchise

Easily the most lived-in setting in recent Star Wars live-action media, Ferrix's focus on selling scrap metal, its blue-collar inspired social norms and visual design made it feel familiar to the franchise while still feeling distinct from other settings in the galaxy.

A significant part of its sprawling nature came down to the fact that the set used to depict the Outer Rim planet's principal locality was massive, even by Star Wars standards. While speaking to Collider during the show's promotional circuit, Adria Arjona (Bix Caleen) stated that the Ferrix city set may have been as large as three to five city blocks.

To be fair, she did later clarify that her estimation may have been inaccurate but there is no denying that Cassian's second homeworld was a massive filmmaking undertaking to realise.
