2. Plane Crashes, Racial Hilarity Ensues
On July 6th 2013 a flight from South Korea to San Francisco crashed on final approach to the airport. 3 were killed, 181 injured. It would take a real dick to turn this into a joke. So the National Transportation Safety Board had this summer intern that was a real dick. It was his responsibility to confirm the names of the four pilots on board the crashed plane. Instead of providing local news station KTVU with the information desired, the intern decided this was a prankage opportunity too good to pass up. The names given were Ho Lee Fuk, Sum Ting Wong, Wi Tu Low and Bang Ding Ow. Really it leaves you wondering who's more at fault here? The idiot or the idiot who believes the idiot? How many people in the newsroom must've seen these names and not batted an eyelid? They're not only fake - they're like the fakest names of all time. Sum Ting Wong?! Ho Lee Fuk?! Come on KTVU! Think outside the teleprompter.
