10 Actors Who Got Kicked Out Of Their Own TV Shows
6. Danny Masterson - The Ranch
Less than two years after joining forces with his That '70s Show co-star Ashton Kutcher in Netflix comedy drama The Ranch, Danny Masterson found himself on the outside looking in after a series of troubling sexual allegations were made against the actor.
A few months after the allegations became public knowledge, Netflix parted ways with Masterson, stating in December 2017, "Yesterday was his last day on the show, and production will resume in early 2018 without him." The actor was also subsequently dropped by his agent too.
After this, one of Netflix's executives Andy Yeatman was also fired once it was revealed that he'd discounted one of the victims who accused Masterson, telling someone at a children's soccer game that Netflix hadn't cut Masterson from the show because "We don't believe them."
Masterson's character would be written off the show in the end, and the actor is currently set for trial after pleading not guilty to claims of sexually assaulting three women between 2001-2003.
The Ranch would continue to run until early 2020, with the final ten episodes of season four dropping on the streaming service on January 24.
