After leading the first five seasons of Netflix's critically acclaimed House of Cards series, Kevin Spacey's run as the unsettling Frank Underwood would come to a controversial end in late 2017.

Accused of making sexual advances towards a 14 year-old Anthony Rapp when Spacey was in his twenties, this allegation opened the door for numerous others to come forward with stories of being sexually harassed or assaulted by the actor. Needless to say, Netflix quickly cut all ties with Spacey, killing the character off for the series' final season and removing Spacey as an executive producer on the show too.

Robin Wright's Claire Underwood would take over as the series' lead for the final season of House of Cards, with the actor being praised for her performance throughout. Whereas Spacey would ultimately find himself completely replaced in Ridley Scott's All the Money in the World, despite already finishing up shooting the movie, by Christopher Plummer.

In the wake of these multiple allegations and lawsuits made against Spacey over the last few years, the actor has all but disappeared from pop culture. Except from the odd disturbing Twitter video posted on his account.
