Guest stars don’t come much bigger than this. Then the most electrifying man in sports entertainment, now the most bankable box office star in the world, in 2000’s “Tsunkatse”, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson graced Voyager with his incredible charisma and screen presence in what can only be described as a coup for Star Trek.

Johnson plays a Pendari warrior - naturally, the people’s champion - and battles Seven Of Nine in a gladiatorial arena. To say the Star Trek team put Johnson in his comfort zone is an understatement - the character is essentially The Rock with a few weird prosthetics on his forehead, he does a WWE-style entrance (complete with his signature eyebrow raise), and he even hits his opponent with his finishing maneuver The Rock Bottom (see also The Scorpion King - this may have been stipulated in his contract).

A true professional, Johnson throws himself into the role as he always does, and even agreed to perform his own stunts (which reportedly left his colleagues feeling the effects the following day). He has since moved onto bigger things, but the star power is clear for all to see.
