10 Amazing TV Shows You'll Probably Never Watch Again

1. Game Of Thrones

Has a show ever been so completely ruined by its final season as Game of Thrones? Quite possibly not.

Plenty of other shows have lost their way, but Game of Thrones is a different kettle of fish. The first seven seasons of this show are unbeatable. The characters, the plot twists, the exceptional storytelling, and the note-perfect acting, dialogue, and directing made these seasons some of the most entertaining TV of all time. Even seasons five to seven (which were more divisive) are great in so many ways, even if they occasionally got a bit messy.

But alas, all of those intricate plots and gripping character journeys ended in the worst way imaginable, and it all went absolutely nowhere. Game of Thrones' final season was an anti-narrative, anti-structural, and anti-thematic disaster that ruined so many of the show's once-beloved characters, and it could be the most disappointing season of television ever.

So awful was this final season that few talk about Game of Thrones with any real fondness, and this ending makes it almost impossible to enjoy the early seasons, now that we know what an awful finish it all built up to and how little any of it ultimately meant.

To surmise, Game of Thrones was amazing back in its day, but few people want to watch it now. We already wasted far too much time on a story that went nowhere, and it's no exaggeration to say that many would rather forget it was ever even a thing.
