10 Amazing TV Shows You'll Probably Never Watch Again
Some shows are just too good to sit through again.

Some TV shows are the sort of thing you'll devour over and over again, an activity that's easier than ever in the age of streaming. After all, we all know someone who marathons Friends reruns every week! Rewatching a show you love is a great thing to do, as you'll likely notice new things and be able to appreciate just how well it was constructed, perhaps even more than you did the first time.
And then, you've got the other side of the coin: amazing shows that few are going to want to see again. The following ten TV series all fall into this category. They all absolutely deserve to be watched, but it's likely that one viewing will be enough for most. The reasons for this vary.
Many of these shows are too harrowing to sit through again, while others ruined any chance of a rewatch with their disappointing endings. Regardless, rewatching these shows would require a lot of strength and patience, and as such, sitting through them again isn't appealing even though they're as great as they are.
Kicking off with an absolute classic from the golden age of television...
10. 24

A formative show from the early years of a golden age of TV, 24 is one of the most addictive, adrenaline-pumping works of entertainment there will ever be in any medium. The endless twists, jaw-dropping high stakes, harrowing moral dilemmas, heart-breaking character deaths, and excruciatingly suspenseful ticking-clock storylines make this real-time thriller a strong contender for the most exciting TV show of all time.
Therefore, it might sound odd to say most are unlikely to rewatch 24 all the way through again, for several reasons.
For starters, there's so much of it, with there being a total of 192 episodes in the original run. Factor in a 2008 TV movie and a 12-episode limited series in 2014, and that's a staggering 205 episodes to get through. Furthermore, while it's an enthralling first viewing, it wouldn't be quite as exciting when you know what's coming, and given how unforgettable this show was at its best, you're likely to remember the plot of each season pretty well.
Additionally, 24 did decline in quality after the fifth season, and certain aspects of it, such as the overuse of Islamic terrorist villains and its frequent torture scenes, have not aged well. As such, even though every and any TV fan should give it a go, 24's not going to be one of those things you keep rewatching - at least, not all the way through.
