10 Anime Beatdowns We'll Never Forget

Well this is one hell of a way to start off a show.

During her escape from the facility that's held her captive for years, Lucy butchers everyone in her path giving a whole new meaning to the term bloodbath. Seriously, this is more than just a beatdown, it's a massacre.

The amount of blood and body parts flying everywhere is insane as Lucy slashes through everyone on her way to freedom. However, it's not the quality of the beating that's so impactful here. Instead, it's how satisfying it is in retrospect.

We come to learn just how evil this agency is as we see them not only torture others like Lucy, but kill them as babies too. They consider her race to be a threat to mankind's very existence, and so they use that as a justification to commit some truly sickening atrocities against them.

While there is evidence that they may be right, there's also plenty to suggest that it's humanity's cruelty that pushes those like Lucy into violence. Either way, there is no excuse for what they did.

Even if most the people she killed were just security guards, they were still complicit in the agencies atrocities by working there, and had everything she did to them coming.
