Game Of Thrones has surely got the biggest cast on television, totalling over 200 by Season 5. It also seems to be the only fantasy with more unpronounceable character names than Middle Earth. Everyone has their favourites, and Tyrion Lannister, Ned Stark and Daenerys Targaryen have all entered mainstream popular culture, as some of the show's most memorable characters. How could anyone forget The Imp, unlucky Lord Stark or The Queen of Dragons? Fortunately for them, as well as being total badasses, they get lots of screen time - maybe that doesn't apply to Ned Stark, but he certainly went out with a bang. However, no matter how memorable a character is, if they aren't on screen enough, or they have a particularly tricky name, you're likely to say 'who?' next time someone mentions them in conversation. A character could make it on this list for a bunch of reasons - maybe they had one or two memorable episodes, but never showed up again; perhaps they have a central role to play, but the show has focused on the more colourful characters as the episodes progress. Whatever reason it is, you won't forget them again.
