5. Prometheus' Gambit - Arrow Season 5, Episode 16
Prometheus is one of the Arrowverse’s finest villains, only behind the esteemed likes of Reverse-Flash and Deathstroke. Adrian Chase’s long-standing vendetta against Oliver helped put the latter’s crusade in an interesting light, and his frenzied approach to combat was a nice representation of his deranged persona.
This is best seen in their clash in the second half of Arrow’s fifth season. Team Arrow attempted to try to throw Chase off his game by bringing the villain's wife to the fold. Unfortunately, this plan goes horribly awry as Chase stabs and leads to Oliver attacking him.
The Emerald Archer gains the upper hand and fares much better in this encounter compared to his first fight with Chase. Before he could deal the final blow however, he is shot by Talia Al Ghul in the back of his leg with what seemed to be a tranquilizer arrow.
The fight highlights Chase’s insane level of preparedness, as well as how far he is willing to go to get the edge over his foes.
