2. Ahsoka's Great Trial

This is one of, if not the biggest arc of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. But with that in mind it wouldn't be possible without everything that has come before it. While other stories in this list can stand on their own and be enjoyed separately, these episodes build on everything we've seen before. It shows us how Ahsoka comes to be where she is in season seven, providing some great drama, and character moments from participants in all the previously mentioned arcs.

We get a great opening episode with Sabotage, which both emulates the fun of sequences in the movies, while also becoming a crime thriller. The Jedi Who Knew Too Much continues to progress that mystery while placing Ahsoka in a dangerous situation, and in one of the most compelling and dramatic action scenes of the series. The arc is then wrapped up by To Catch a Jedi, and The Wrong Jedi, as different characters come into play and the emotions and stakes are at their best.

The episode titles are appropriately based off Alfred Hitchcock films with the story serving as a fantastic finale for many of our characters. The script work is at its best, with one particular character getting a very impassioned and hard hitting speech, that reflects the climate we lead into Revenge of the Sith with. This arc is also the first to have a full orchestral soundtrack, complimenting the story and aiding its emotional final moments.
