10 Best Arcs Of Clone Wars To Watch Before The Finale

3. Maul On Mandalore

Star Wars The Clone Wars Darth Maul
Lucasfilm

Talk about vital territory.

These episodes are not only essential for what the season seven finale will have in store, but feature some of the most fan pleasing moments in Star Wars history. With deaths including beheadings, impalement, and stabbings, it's hard to believe this show first aired on Cartoon Network. But don't worry it's all family friendly, The Clone Wars does what it does best by carefully treading the line, something Disney shows are more hesitant to do.

Featuring Palpatine (voiced by the brilliant Ian Abercrombie) in full Darth Sideous mode, along with the Death Watch and many more, these episodes highlight the fantastic stakes and drama the series is able to create. Along with fantastic voice work from Sam Witwer (Darth Maul), Clancy Brown (Savage Opress), and sci-fi regular Katie Sackhoff (Bo-Katan), it's no wonder these are some IMDB's highest rated episodes.

Despite the dark elements It's even great for some of the lighter moments the show has, such as Obi Wan's trademark sass, and Maul's great observation about Jabba's Palace. Revival (which appears at the start of season five), Eminence, Shades of Reason, and The Lawless don't give away too much from their titles, and are great episodes for those who have invested themselves in the show's full run, or viewers just watching the key episodes.
