Why do we watch Game of Thrones? Like, really? Why do we put ourselves through this year-after-year? There've been some huge deaths over the years, but not many have been as unjust as Jon Snow's in the Season 5 finale. He's been absolutely right all the way through his time as Lord Commander, and while granting passage for the wildlings was radical, it was the only way they could've hoped to man the Wall. It was a tragic note to end the season on, but his death has provided an explosion of rumours, theories and potential storylines for a comeback in Season 6, and if that's the case, his 'death' really did serve an enormous purpose in setting up the show's future.
