4. Into The Woods
This episode is one you definitely need to watch if you haven't already. If you have, just watch it again to refresh your memory.
Into the Woods centres on the reveal of Edward Nygma as the infamous Riddler, and at the same moment, Oswald Cobblepot begins to awaken from his conditioning while reigniting his love of fancy tailcoats.
After coming into possession of a tape with a distorted voice on it, Jim takes it to Edward Nygma to see if he can decipher whose voice it is. Due to Edward's ill-timed cuckoo clock, Jim comes to the conclusion that he is the culprit, but Edward sets off an explosion he installed on Jim's seat and it knocks him out. Jim awakens and escapes from Nygma, before devising a way to bait him out into the open.
It succeeds. Edward panics and heads to the place he buried Kristen Kringle, where Jim is waiting to confront him, and after a little trip and fall, arrests him.
Oswald attends his father's funeral, distraught and homeless, but he manages to take up the role of housekeeper for his 'loving' step family. After a few days of being treated horribly, he comes across a bottle of poison that Grace used to kill Oswald's father. With a thirst for revenge, he murders and cooks Grace's two children before serving them to her. He kills Grace soon after, and reverts to being the Penguin once more.
Talk about a grisly ending...
