This show is fantastic at taking something they did well and developing it further, and this chapter is the perfect evidence of that working. The iconic Day Man song is tranfsformed into a full musical by Charlie, who works tirelessly to see it pay off. The conflict comes as Charlie is furious with the gang's inability to leave their ideas or egos outside of the rehearsal space.

Of course, the absolute highlights of this episode are the songs written by the very talented Charlie Day. The classic Day Man song makes its grand reappearance and is easily the highlight of the event, but Frank's hilarious Troll Toll song and Dee's Tiny boy are both catchy and funny.

The episode showed the audience that delving into the less realistic and slightly wackier side of the characters was a recipe for success and began leading the show down a lane of balancing out gritty and crude elements with weird and sillier concepts. The balance of the two being something that the show exceeds at. This episode was iconic enough even to be converted into a special live performance and ranks as many people's favourite, but it does not quite top the list.
