Joe Rogan is quietly one of the busiest men in the entertainment industry. Rogan does colour commentary for UFC, hosts one of the world's most popular podcasts, and is a stand-up comedian with a plethora of specials to his name. In 2016, he released his special Triggered, his Netflix debut, which was brilliantly funny.

His inaugural Netflix show is aptly named, as Rogan does not shy away from discussing topics such as Caitlyn Jenner, gender politics, and being high around his children. Rogan has a rare ability to discuss and, to draw humour from, subjects that are often divisive and challenging to talk about. He frequently begins a monologue about a subject that has the crowd uneasy and, by the end of his rant, has his audience in stitches.

Rogen paces his performance very effectively throughout his special. He knows when to be a loud and seem larger than life with his persona, but he can also have the room silent and attentive while he shares a quiet, measured story. His use of energy and the volume of his voice allows his punchlines to get a bigger pop.

Rogen is an opinionated comedian, delivering some clever point-of-view comedy. While there are fans of his who disagree with his viewpoint, his skillset is most evident by the fact that he can still draw a laugh out of each member of his audience. Love him or not, there is no denying that Joe Rogen knocks this special out of the park.
