10 Best Superhero TV Shows Of 2018 (So Far)

Legends of Tomorrow shocked us all during its second season when it ended up becoming one of the most enjoyable shows on TV. The Arrowverse's time-travelling counterpart had a solid first season, but it didn't exactly make its mark on the world of superhero television. However, Season 2 took the criticism onboard and provided us with perhaps the most off-the-wall antics we had ever seen a team of superheroes get up to. And thankfully, it maintained that (ridiculously) high standard for Season 3.

This year, The CW's team of outcasts and misfits battled a time-travelling Demon named Mallus. And if that wasn't strange enough, he had an army comprised of a resurrected Mystic, his possessed daughter and a telepathic Gorilla. Yes, that's right, former Arrow and Legends Big Bad Damien Darhk returned once more alongside his daughter Nora and The Flash's nemesis Gorilla Grodd. Now, we challenge you to find anything more bizarre than that. Bizarre, you say? Well then how about a final battle between a winged bat-demon and a giant plush doll that just wants cuddles, dammit!

Legends of Tomorrow is that thrill ride that, even though you know what you're about to get, the experience still catches you off-guard everytime. It's that show that you've come to expect unpredictability from, yet you're still completely blown away by the absolutely batsh*t storylines that unfold before your eyes. And you embrace it everytime, because there is nothing on TV as self-aware as this bizarre-but-brilliant series. And we will continue to embrace it for many more years to come.
