10 Best Tales From The Crypt Episodes

9. Split Personality [Season 4, Episode 11]

Tales From The Crypt
HBO

Con artists are a regular feature in Tales From The Crypt and here we have one of the most memorable in the form of an especially sleazy Joe Pesci (Goodfellas). He's a bigamist swindler who needs to be in two places at once. Unfortunately for him, his jealous wives may have a practical solution to his dilemma.

Real twins Kristen and Jacqueline Citron play the wives in question, both duped into marriage by Pesci's "Jack" in order to steal their fortune. Night Of the Creeps' Fred Dekker adapted the screenplay with Joel Silver directing and the 28 minute episode doesn't waste any time in telling its story.

The opening scene where Jack deceives a desperate Burt Young (Rocky) sets his character up perfectly and although Jack's antics are sometimes amusing you spend the rest of the episode itching for him to get that Tales From The Crypt style comeuppance.

To say much more would give the game away, check it out for yourselves.
