10 Cameos We Want For The S.H.I.E.L.D. TV Series

3. Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme

In the Marvel universe, Doctor Strange is the authority on all things magical. Often in the comics, when a hero or hero team has a magical problem that they cannot solve by themselves, they will call in the doctor for help. Doctor Strange was originally a medical doctor; an expert neurosurgeon. He was in a car crash that damaged his hands, ruining his surgical career. He desperately searched for a way to fix his hands, eventually leading him to a mystic in the Himalayas called the Ancient One. The Ancient One refused to fix Strange€™s hands with his magic due to Strange€™s selfishness. At that moment, there was an attack by magic forces on the Ancient One by one of his disciples. Strange wanted to warn the Ancient One, but found that he was unable to speak of it due to a spell cast upon him. Strange then offered himself to be a disciple in order to protect the Ancient One. Strange became a very gifted magician, eventually succeeding his master as Sorcerer Supreme. There have already been hints that Doctor Strange will appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. One of the objects in Odin€™s vault in Thor is the Orb of Agamotto, which is a magical item owned by Doctor Strange. There are also rumours that Doctor Strange will appear in Thor: The Dark World. If Doctor Strange does not appear in film, it would be great if he could appear in the TV series. Maybe S.H.I.E.L.D. will have a magical problem that they need to call Doctor Strange in to solve.
