10 Confusing Game Of Thrones Moments Nobody Understands

4. Jaime And Bron In Dorne

Season 5 was quite divisive among fans, and one of those reasons can be expressed in one groan-inducing word: Dorne.

The trip to the exotic, far-flung kingdom was greeted with excitement by many, but Jaime Lannister and Bron strolling around in the Dornish sunshine in search of Jaime's daughter-niece Myrcella didn't really go anywhere and left everyone wondering how the scenes had not ended up on the cutting room floor.

There was a payoff in the end - as the reunited Jamie and Myrcella sail home towards King's Landing, we learn that she had been poisoned by the revenge seeking Dorish Princess Ellaria Sand. But to get there did we have to meet the disappointing Sand Snakes and see endless scenes of one of them flirting with Bron in prison?

The poisoning and subsequent death could have been done in one or two scenes and it's not clear why anyone saw hours of dull footage and thought "yeah, let's stretch that out over several episodes".
