"Over" is a great episode that is sometimes overlooked because it is slow-paced, a little strange, and really uncomfortable. In this episode, Walter deals with the news that his tumor has shrunk drastically and his prognosis is promising. But he knows that he is already in too deep to really turn back now. The result is an awkward melding of happy, angry, and sad emotions. We get more on the black-and-white flash-forward pink teddy bear front. Walt makes it his mission to repair the rot in his crawl space, which is an apt metaphor for his own circumstances. At the family party, Walt gets drunk and then encourages sixteen year-old Walter, Jr. to drink while lashing out at Hank for trying to be the parent. Walter, Jr.'s alcohol binge has predictably messy results. Meanwhile, Jesse and Jane's romance is interrupted by her father's appearance. But the highlight of this episode comes from one of the most badass Heisenberg moments yet. While shopping for more home improvement supplies, he spots a fellow meth-maker and gives him some pointers, because at this point Walt has decided to move on from cooking. As he is waiting in the checkout line, however, his meth-making ego is reignited. The ensuing parking lot confrontation between Heisenberg and the rival meth dealers, with "DLZ" by TV On the Radio playing in the background, is an incredible TV moment. It's a major turning point in the series as we don't quite know what Walt is capable of at this point, and I suspect that neither does Walt. Memorable Quote: Walter White: "Stay out of my territory."
