10 Deaths That Would Ruin Game Of Thrones

3. Daenerys Targaryen

No other character in the entire series has gone through a more extreme evolution than the beloved Khaleesi. As the only surviving child of the mad king Aerys Targaryen, Daenerys Stormborn (the name given to her due to her birth occurring during the great storm that destroyed the Targaryen fleet) was introduced to us as the meek, subservient virgin being sold into marriage by her brother in exchange for Khal Drogo€™s Dothraki army€™s help in winning back the throne. Her relationship with Drogo went from one of fear and submission to love, and when he perished it lit a fire underneath Dany, and she rose to her position of Khaleesi with grace and strength. Gone is the timid and frightened child and in her place stands the mother of dragons, a powerful woman with the love of her followers. Men are entranced by the beautiful Emilia Clark€™s Daenerys, and she€™s a compassionate ruler, something the Seven Kingdoms have been sorely lacking for a long time. Unfortunately it€™s felt like her story in much of the last two seasons has stalled, with Dany spinning her wheels on her journey to retake the throne. Her mission to free the enslaved is great and all, but what we really want is for her to arrive in King€™s Landing to reclaim the crown usurped from her father. Viewers hope something major is on the horizon for Targaryen, her dragons and her army, and she€™d better not meet her end before we get to see it.
