As far as villains go, the Abzorbaloff is a huge laughing stock. A lot has already been said about how Love And Monsters' third act completely misses the mark by going for comedy instead of horror - so we won't go over that again!
However, we will defend the Abzorbaloff in one area. If you look past the poor execution and judge this villain based on its concept and abilities alone, then the way it attacks its prey is actually highly unsettling.
With just a single touch, this slimy green man-blob can absorb people into its body, taking their physical forms, their consciousness, and their memories. Everything.
Rather than outright killing the person - which would be an act of mercy, considering the situation - the victim will essentially "merge" with the Abzorbaloff's body, their horrified faces protruding from underneath its skin.
