10 Dumbest Things About Star Wars TV Shows

3. Padme Was CLEARLY Pregnant - Star Wars: The Clone Wars

Like master, like apprentice, it seems.

Remember when Padme Amidala first reveals to her beloved Anakin Skywalker that she's pregnant in Episode III - Revenge of the Sith? The way that scene plays out very much suggests that 'The Chosen One' did not have a clue his wife was carrying their child (children, in fact).

But a small moment during The Clone Wars series actually makes him seem a little dumb for not clocking onto that fact beforehand.

Coming during the seventh season of the animated show, Padme secretly gets in touch with her precious Ani via hologram while he's away fighting in the Outer Rim Sieges. And it's during that conversation where Amidala blatantly holds her stomach like a woman who was carrying a pregnancy.

Now sure, you could argue that Skywalker was too lost in his lover's eyes during this chat to notice such a thing. But even with Amidala not showing too much at that point in her pregnancy, any person with a pair of eyes could still see what was being hinted at with her hand gestures.

Not Ani, though. This Jedi fool was too busy thinking about saving Echo to spot that he was about to become a daddy.
