10 Extremely Likeable TV Aliens

4. Kang & Kodos (The Simpsons)

Kang And Kodos Despite the fact that they are, more often than not, hell-bent on taking over our planet (which makes this entry a little weird), Kang and Kodos are indeed quite likeable - thanks largely to their bumbling nature. They are a duo of recurring characters (who are siblings, but have both been referred to as male and female, so goodness knows the truth) in the animated television series The Simpsons. Both aliens are voiced by Simpsons regulars - Kang is voiced by Harry Shearer (Ned Flanders, Mr. Burns, Principal Skinner etc) and Kodos by Dan Castellaneta (Homer Simpson, Krusty the Clown, Barney Gumble etc). They hail from the fictional planet of Rigel IV and appear almost exclusively in the "Treehouse of Horror" episodes (first appearing in 1990's Treehouse of Horror I). Kang and Kodos have a lot of space weaponry at their disposal and are usually seen in their own spaceship. They speak the Rigellian language, which, by coincidence, is identical to English and, although they look identical, Kang is notable as having a deeper voice than Kodos.
