4. There'll Be There For Who (Friends/Doctor Who)

A statement, taken from the iconic Friends theme tune, that is rather befitting to every Doctor Who companion who has ever had the luxury of stepping aboard the TARDIS. Needless to say, life as a coveted time traveller is a rollercoaster at the very best of times but an overriding message in Doctor Who is that anything is possible as long as you've got your best friend at your side. Or words to that effect, anyway. It was an inspired choice, then, to commemorate the Time Lord's historic 50th anniversary by mashing up The Day of the Doctor's glittering cast ensemble in a Friends-esque title sequence. The result is enough to melt your Whovian heart(s) as it serves as a wistful reminder that the Doctor & Co really will be there for us when the rain/Daleks start to fall. Either/or. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
