1. The Water Bottle (Extras)
An absolute modern classic, and one of the funniest sketches that's been conceived in the last ten years. Not only is the very idea of mustering up enough courage to go and talk to the attractive person across the room relatable enough, that element of teetering on the edge of doing something stupid is in full effect as Gervais' Milman attempts to casually drink from a bottle of water he'd been tossing between his hands throughout the conversation. Little did he know the water was carbonated, and would explode when opened. Milman attempts (and spectacularly fails) at covering his blunder by sticking the bottle in his mouth, and as his eyes bulge from the pressure, the fact that co-directors Gervais and Merchant let the entire scene play out complete with Milman coughing and wheezing his way through some more dialogue effortlessly takes the top spot on my list, with myself and thousands of others just as breathless as Andy by scene's end. So there you go, any particular moments spring to mind that I've missed out? Please dive into the comments and share them about, as with Merchant's Hello Ladies show once again dividing critics, and Gervais going on tour as David Brent complete with his 'failed' band Forgone Conclusion, there's plenty more to come from The Kings of Awkward Comedy.
