3. Future Sylar (Heroes)
In the alternate Heroes future known as the explosion future, Sylar is believed to have died in the explosion as well as caused it (in fact, it was Peter Petrelli who caused it). Sylar actually survived, killed Nathan Petrelli at an unknown point and impersonated him using the power of illusion that he had acquired from Candice Willmer - this version first appears in the episode "Five Years Gone". Consequently, Sylar is the President of the United States in the then alternate future of 2011. As President, he has introduced a policy for strictly monitoring and controlling the activities of evolved humans and uses Homeland Security to enforce it. He has acquired so many powers in this future that he no longer feels the need to obtain any more and simply wants to eradicate anyone else with powers who might be a threat to him.
