10 Great TV Shows Starring The Doctor Who Cast
1. David Tennant - Good Omens
This Amazon series is based on a book co-written by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. Need any more be said?
It's not a hard sell to claim that David Tennant is one of the most successful actors to come out of Doctor Who. His tenure as the Tenth Doctor turned him into a greatest of all-time candidate, and that ball didn't stop rolling once he departed, with this show being one of his most exciting projects.
Good Omens tells the story of the unlikely friendship between a demon and an angel - David Tennant as the demon (Crowley) and Michael Sheen as the angel (Aziraphale). The two work together as representatives of Hell and Heaven on Earth to prevent the upcoming apocalypse.
As you can expect, the sheer influx of chemistry between Sheen and Tennant makes the show worth watching on its own. They combine like yin and yang, creating polar opposites who couldn't feel closer to each other.
Still, the show has plenty of selling points outside of this as well, such as the hilarious dialogue, ingenious creativity, the star-studded cast and perfect combination of fantasy and reality.
