10 Great TV Shows With An Even Better Soundtrack

4. Atlanta

Is there anything Donald Glover can't do?

First, he honed his writing craft on shows like 30 Rock. Then, he honed his acting on shows like Community. Then, he continued to establish himself as a world-class comedian. He also made tsunami-like waves as a musician (albeit under the names mcDJ and Childish Gambino). After all that, he went and created Atlanta.

Serving as writer, executive producer and star, Glover's brainchild follows his character, Earnest "Earn" Marks, a college dropout music producer, as he manages his rapper cousin's music career.

Much like Empire, a show with a premise like Atlanta was always going to live or die on its soundtrack. Fortunately, Glover just happens to know a thing or two about music.

Atlanta's soundtrack features artists such as Usher, Future, Migos, Outkast, Jeezy, 2 Chainz, and Young Thug, to name but a few.

Glover may have already been a household name, but his role in creating Atlanta brought his many talents together under one place. Here he can really showcase his love of writing, acting and music, and it all comes together so perfectly that you simply can't miss it.
