Where Scream brought the horror of Wes Craven to our homes, Ryan Murphy's Scream Queens took that principle and covered it in candy floss. A stellar cast of Emma Roberts, Lea Michelle, and Jamie Lee Curtis, each role was so perfect it is nearly criminal.

The first season followed the sadistic Chanel sisterhood as The Red Devil Killer stalked a campus sorority house. There is no denying that Scream Queens is typecast as a campy horror, but from the minds behind American Horror Story and Glee, what else would you expect?

Currently in its second season, the original premise of Scream Queens being (another) horror anthology has, on the whole, been scrapped. With most of the premiere season cast returning, Season 2 serves as a career resurgence for the likes of newcomers Kirstie Alley and Jerry O'Connell.

This time the show has swapped out the halls of the sorority for hospital scrubs. It still sticks with the murder of the week formula, but slaps a big green face mask on it too with a new killer in town.
