2 & 1. Selena Gomez/Demi Lovato - Barney And Friends
What do these two starlets have in common, besides a large preteen fan base and a willingness to sabotage their future adult careers by hitching their wagon to Disney? They both got their start on Barney and Friends! Selena played a little girl named Gianna in an impressive fourteen episodes with the big purple dinosaur, and Demi played Angela in nine episodes. They basically just sang silly songs and danced around, which has actually probably served them well in their chosen profession. Now that I've seen the video footage of them on the show (I was never really into Barney when I was little), I'm really starting to wonder what the rest of the Barney kids are doing now. Selena and Demi were in the same episodes together, so if two little girls from one episode managed to make it big, it stands to reason that some of the other kids who were on the show must have gone on to have a career in the entertainment industry. More research is required. Anyway, there's not really that much to say. It's hard to come out of Barney with any dignity, but I guess they can always just say that their stage moms made them do it. You know what, though? I'll allow it, because they're adorable.
