10 Iconic Episodes Of Avatar: The Last Airbender
1. Sozin’s Comet: Part 4 Avatar Aang (Book 3: Episode 21)
It should come as no surprise that the final episode of Avatar’s four part finale would claim the number one entry on this list. There is very little to hate about this episode as it offers some of the best animation, music and fight scenes, both large and small, of the entire show and a very satisfying ending.
Sokka, Toph and Suki defeat the Fire Nations airships while the White Lotus reclaim Ba Sing Se. Azula is defeated at the hands of Katara and Zuko, which results in her having a mental breakdown. And then we see Aang enter the Avatar state for the last time and defeat Fire Lord Ozai in an epic final confrontation without having to kill him.
With the war over, Zuko takes his place as the new Fire Lord and claims the war to be over. He rekindles his relationship with Mai while Ty Lee joins the Kyoshi Warriors. Some time later, Team Avatar are celebrating together at Iroh’s new tea shop in Ba Sing Se while Aang and Katara embrace one another and kiss under the sunset.
If you still haven’t seen the show, the entire series is available to watch on Netflix.
