3. Space Force
A comedy made by the creator of one of the best sitcoms of all time (The Office US), with an all-star cast including Steve Carrell, Lisa Kudrow, John Malkovich and many more, based on the true story of the infamous Space Force? It sounds too good to be true. But, as soon as it came out, it failed about as hard as the real Space Force.
The attempt to establish the United States Space Force was one of the most bizarre moments in the Trump administration, and it didn't take long for Netflix to attempt to poke fun at it. This series came along not but a year later, with the promise to be a goofy show that balanced political satire with workplace comedy and the all-star cast made it impossible to ignore.
But when viewers finally got their hands on it, it just wasn't funny. The characters were colourful and had good chemistry, but the writing just felt bland, and there were too many jokes that don't land.
Overall, it's passable if you want something to kill time, but with names like this behind it, fans certainly expected more.
