Recently back for another season and just as brilliant as ever this comedy does exactly what it says on the tin. Each week we are invited into the Goodman's home to join them as they have their Friday night dinner.
A premise that sounds simple enough but due to the cast of oddballs like family patriarch Martin and neighbour Jim, every episode is filled with bizarre shenanigans. The show keeps a small cast of characters allowing the audience to really get to know the family and the surrounding members, most iconic of all being Jim.
Simon Bird is no stranger to comedy after his role in The Inbetweeners but his banter with on screen brother Tom Rosenthal is so effortless its a pleasure to watch. Friday Night Dinner will have you wanting seconds before you've even finished your first episode.
