10 Moments From The Grand Tour We All Loved
1. That Emotional Ending
When The Grand Tour reached the final episode of its third season, fans were in for quite a shock. In the episode, Funeral for a Ford, the trio finally agree on one thing and it's that they all enjoy a range of medium-sized Ford saloons.
The episode nears its conclusion with all three presenters standing together in the tent to finish the third series off. It was at this point that the show's fans were caught massively off guard by what Jeremy Clarkson had to say next.
"It's very sad and it's not the only British motoring institution that's coming to an end. We are."
Clarkson made the announcement trying desperately to hold back the tears after being denied the chance to say goodbye to his former show, Top Gear. After stating that this would be the last episode of The Grand Tour as we know it, fans were then treated to a montage of all the best bits of The Grand Tour and Top Gear over the last 17 years! The moment is made even more moving by the inclusion of Jeremy's family sitting on the front row of the recording.
Before the episode's credits rolled the trio did announce that they would continue to make the feature-length specials but the studio segments of the show would be no more.
