Black Mirror loves commenting on technology and how we use it. This social commentary series has led to numerous dark fates on the show caused by some pretty terrifying tech. While Metalhead's relentless "dogs" are a close contender, nothing quite crawls under your skin like the ADIs in Hated in the Nation.

This murder mystery episode follows two detectives investigating who's been killing people as voted by Twitter users. The detectives soon discover someone's hacked ADIs, robotic bees helping to pollinate the UK, to murder whoever's been tagged in the most '#DeathTo' hashtags.

Rogue ADIs will attempt to burrow into the brain of their victim by any means necessary; it's not a quick death. The first victim slashes her neck with a bottle, while the second is killed in when an MRI machine pulls the metallic insect through his skull.

Even when the detectives try to protect the third victim, the hive-mind bees swarm the safehouse, making their way through keyholes, windows, and air ducts to make sure the chosen meets a grisly end.

It's a fantastic Black Mirror episode, with some phenomenal acting and a horrifying twist that makes you question who the real victims were. Let's just say the bee master wishes to create a far bigger Twitter buzz in the UK...
