Let’s describe True Blood, throughout its seven long seasons: Exciting, shocking, and suspenseful. There was constant blood and gore, nudity and more nudity, rough sex, and interesting ancient vampires and recurring human characters that kept the show alive and entertaining.

Now let’s describe the series finale of True Blood: Tame, boring, and uneventful. The baddies got their just deserts, mostly everyone ended up happy, and many got married and had kids. From the major characters, only poor, old Bill Compton died, being emotionally and literally staked by Sookie.

For a series synonymous with death and danger, the finale truly delivered nothing but a dull feeling, with none of the tension and suspense True Blood fans loved so much.
