10 Most Disappointing Series Finales Of All Time

6. Lost

Sex And The City
ABC

Some liked the open ending of Lost, which spurred even more questions and debates about the show that fans still discuss today. Perhaps that was what the shows’ creators wanted.

But for most, the ending which instead of answering unanswered questions, simply created more stuff to wonder about, wasn’t really accepted or enjoyed. The series wasn’t always clear and often took on more that it could cover in terms of mystery. But the ending went too far, and had fans asking themselves questions like: Are they dead? Were they dead all along? Which parts were true, and which weren’t? Am I dead?

A little bit of closure and a little more clarity would have been appreciated.

I like to think of myself as a world traveler and social butterfly, although I do spend a lot of my time watching the latest Japanese anime series, sitcoms, movies, and drama series. I live on the island of Crete, where I was born, and enjoy walking on the beach with my little cocker spaniel, Molly, when I'm not writing for WhatCulture.com and UNILAD.co.uk.
