With a great backing soundtrack of 'Downtown Train' by Everything But The Girl, Ted plucks up the courage to talk to the girl with the yellow umbrella. As he does, they realize their lives have nearly been connected for years. After getting to know The Mother (or Tracy) all through Season Nine, it's a real tearjerker to see the pair find what they've been both looking for all these years.

While the outcome is ultimately tragic, at least we know that, at this point, they're at the start of their journey together.
