10 Most Iconic Tracks From Supernatural

2. O Death - Jen Titus

On paper, it seems basic and lazy to have the character of Death introduced to an obvious song like "O Death". But, holy hell, did the show pull it off in spectacular fashion, making it nowhere near feeling lazy or predictable.

Season five, episode 21, titled "Two Minutes To Midnight", was the debut of this member of The Four Horseman Of The Apocalypse. As the oldest, and most powerful figure in this order, you knew he would be something to fear, and this intro proved that.

The scene in question simply showed as Death strode from his "pale horse" (a Cadillac Coupe) and caused the demise of a man who bumped into him. But, the use of this bone-chilling song made it one of the most iconic and goosebump-inducing scenes in the show.

"O Death" is equal parts beautiful and terrifying, as the sound of Titus' voice is soothing and sweet, but the venom of the lyrics and ethereal tones make it incredibly creepy. This entire sequence is a very worthy introduction for a villain of this magnitude, and you've got the song to thank for that.
