10 Most Iconic Tracks From Supernatural

1. Carry On Wayward Son - Kansas

This one probably shouldn't come as a surprise, as you could easily argue this song is the unofficial (and maybe even official) theme of Supernatural. The last ever episode of the show - "Carry On" - is even named after it, so how could it not be number one?

For a Supernatural fan, the ending of a season always spelt one guarantee, and that was the use of "Carry On Wayward Son". This classic progressive rock song was used in every season finale's "The Road So Far" segment, excluding the first season, where it appeared in the penultimate outing.

Fans absolutely took to this tradition and became glued to the song as an iconic Supernatural track, and it's hard to blame them. There's something about the tune that's epic and intimate at the same time, feeling like an adventure, but also something thoughtful and poignant. That's why it fits Supernatural like a glove.

The song even went further by appearing at the end of every episode of the animated series, proving that it is the definitive Supernatural track.
