While the dragonglass dagger was effective in wiping out a walker, the greatest kill came from Jon Snow's valyrian steel sword, Longclaw, passed down to him from Jeor Mormont. It's the first confirmed duel between a White Walker and a human in centuries, even though it appears that Jon hasn't got a leg to stand on. Valyrian steel is another crafted material that can bring down the glorified snowmen. The clashing sound of the weapons combined with the White Walker's 'WTF' face was an amazing split-second, and in that moment, neither of them knew anything. Longclaw proved itself as a walker slayer, and if its owner is to make a comeback, prepare to see it shoot straight to the top of the weapon charts.
