10 Most Rewatchable TV Shows Of All Time

1. The Simpsons

Yes, admittedly, The Simpsons goes off the boil in a big way. Where and when it truly starts its irreparable decline is a point of debate, but no one’s going to deny that, at this point, there are more bad years than good, more lame episodes than classic ones.

Even with this in mind, though, with close to two decades of duds, there are still more great episodes of The Simpsons than any other TV show in history. The commonly accepted golden years, seasons three through eight, almost never put a foot wrong (give or take the odd clip show), and the writing was so immense that every episode is jam packed with gags, some of which you’re guaranteed to have forgotten.

The seasons that follow have their moments, and it’s a while before it turns nigh on unwatchable, but even for the purists, you’re talking about hour upon hour of unimpeachable TV comedy.

With the backlog of perfection, there’s little The Simpson could do now to truly sully its legacy. We’ll be watching and laughing until humanity crumbles.
