2. Helen Meets Her Maker (Season 3)
Navarro's lawyer, Helen came into town to investigate Del's disappearance and showed us that she can be just as cold as he was. She knows firsthand how ruthless Navarro is and will do whatever she needs to do to get the job done. So, to see her getting tortured at the start of the season proved that even she wasn't safe from her boss's threats.
As Wendy and Navarro develop a deeper working relationship, Helen feels threatened and tries to frame the Byrde' s as informants. She contacts Ruth about running the business if something happened to Marty and it becomes obvious she wants them out of the way. Shortly after,Navarro summons all three to his compound as fans watch in anger thinking Helen's plan is working only to have her shot the second she steps off the plane. Navarro then embraces the blood splattered couple. Roll Credits. WHAT?!
Fans are left to speculate what caused this, but assuming how paranoid Navarro is it wouldn't be surprising if he had people watching Helen's every move and knew what she was truly doing. However, to see such an intimidating character die so suddenly shows that no one is safe on Ozark.
