10 Most Underrated TV Actors Of All Time

7. Lily Rabe

The Mandalorian
FX

When thinking of American Horror Story, chances are three actors instantly come to mind: Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, and Jessica Lange.

Despite appearing in the same amount of seasons as both Peters and Paulson, the ever-dependable Lily Rabe has always felt weirdly left out of the show's fanfare.

Rabe has played a ghost, a sweet nun possessed by the Devil, a care-free, Stevie Nicks-loving witch, infamous serial killer Aileen Wuornos and a handful of other increasingly oddball characters over American Horror Story's long run, and has brilliantly transformed herself into every character Ryan Murphy's challenged her with.

She can be terrifying, innocent, hilarious and a perfect mixture of the three, yet when compared to the veterans that surround her, she's always felt strangely underappreciated, receiving very few accolades for her work and rarely being mentioned in the same sentence as Peters, Paulson, Lange or even Kathy Bates.

Rabe has been confirmed for the show's upcoming tenth season - Double Feature - where hopefully she'll get the credit she so obviously deserves moving forward.
