2. Tia And Tamera
It can be argued that these sassy sisters were made famous before their guest appearance on Are You Afraid of the Dark. Sister, Sister premiered in 1994 but didn't take off until it was picked up by the WB the same year the twins appeared in the episode "The Tale of the Chameleons." Rather than playing twins as the two have become known for, Tia plays the protagonist while Tamera portrays the evil being that takes on her form. In the episode, a young girl is bitten by a chameleon - played wonderfully by an iguana - and it takes on her shape while causing her to revert to its form. She has to find a way to change back and convince her friend which is the real one in order to stop the evil chameleon's plans to change their family and friends. The episode is a classic in the series and features one of the darkest endings the show has ever aired. If you enjoyed Sister, Sister or are just fans of the Mowry twins in general it's one episode you must see. Tia Mowry has been keeping busy starring in BET's The Game which ended in 2012 and has now debuted a new show with Nick at Nite titled Instant Mom. Tamera's last acting job was last year in made-for-tv movie Christmas Angel. Both are keeping busy raising children of their own.
